On 26-28 November, SRPA “Impulse”, as a member of the consortium that has won in the European tender “Design, delivery, and construction of route-computer based interlocking (MKC) at Sindel Railway Station (Bulgaria)”, received representatives of the Contracting Authority - SE “National Railway Infrastructure Company” (hereinafter referred to as SE “NRIC”) and companies-consortium members.
At the kick-off meeting devoted to implementation of the project, SRPA “Impulse” was represented by Chairman of Supervisory Board, Director, Deputy Directors, specialized heads of subdivisions, and main specialists.
A detailed report was presented to the delegation members concerning all life-cycle stages of railway automatics systems: development, manufacturing, testing, etc. The guests visited R&D subdivisions, experimental and research ground, production areas and workshops, as well as independent testing laboratory “Testing laboratory “EUTEST”, where the majority of testing for equipment by SRPA “Impulse” is performed. Company’s promising developments were demonstrated, they attracted vivid interest and, perhaps, will be in demand in projects of SE “NRIC” already in the near future.
The delegation members visited implementation facilities of MPC-U manufactured by SRPA “Impulse”: 19 km Track Post of South-Western Railway and Pereiezdnaia Station of Donetsk Railway, discussed peculiarities of operation of equipment by SRPA “Impulse” with specialized personnel.
Summarizing the visit, the guests stated that they were pleasantly surprised with the “European” level of the enterprise, qualification of specialists, and quality of developments for railways.
The documentary confirmation of established confidence between the contracting authority and the consortium, which includes SRPA “Impulse”, became an approved project implementation schedule.
