THE ACCEPTANCE TESTING OF THE INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL SYSTEMS OF THE INSTRUMENTATION AND CURRENT DISTRIBUTORS, THE AUTOMATIC REGULATING SYSTEM OF THE REACTOR DIVISION NORMAL OPERATION SYSTEM (I&C of KIP-RT of NOS RO and I&C of SAR of NOS RO) FOR UNIT

  In August 2018, the acceptance testing of the instrumentation and control systems of the instrumentation and current distributors, the automatic regulating system of the reactor division normal operation system (I&C of KIP-RT of NOS RO and I&C of SAR of NOS RO) for unit 3 of Zaporizhzhya NPP was carried out at the site of PJSC “SRPA “Impulse”, the systems were created within the framework of implementation of the “Complex (Consolidated) Safety Upgrade Program for NPP Units” project using credit funds of EBRD/EURATOM.

I&C of KIP-RT of NOS RO and I&C of SAR of NOS RO are designated to implement functions of receipt, normalization, and processing of input signals from primary measuring transducers, to shape output current and discrete signals, to execute automatic control functions, to receive information on state of technological process parameters with transmission to the unit’s process information system.

The aim of the acceptance testing of I&C of KIP-RT of NOS RO and I&C of SAR of NOS RO was as follows: confirmation that the supply set of the equipment for unit 3 of ZNPP meets the requirements of the terms of reference and the design documentation.

Based on the results of the acceptance testing, the commission consisting of representatives of ZNPP, the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine, LLC “I&C CERTCENTR”, and PJSC “SRPA “Impulse” stated that I&C of KIP-RT of NOS RO and I&C of SAR of NOS RO submitted for the testing meet the design, technological, operational, software documentations, the requirements of the terms of reference completely and are ready to be supplied to unit 3 of Zaporizhzhya NPP.
