ACCEPTANCE TESTING OF MPC-U EQUIPMENT HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY PERFORMED WITHIN IMPLEMENTATION OF INTERNATIONAL PROJECT FOR DESIGN, MANUFACTURING, AND COMMISSIONING OF MPC AT ST. “SINDEL” (BULGARIA)

From 7 to 11 October, the acceptance testing of the route computer interlocking (MKC) based on MPC-U for railway station “Sindel” (Bulgaria) was carried out at the site of PJSC “SRPA “Impulse”.

The complete cycle of testing was carried out for MPC-U and an emergency control console (PAU) designated for traffic monitoring and safe control at railway station “Sindel”.

The aim of the acceptance testing was as follows:

  • determining if the hardware and the software of MPC-U and PAU meet the requirements of design and normative documents;
  • functional checks on MPC-U and PAU;
  • assessment of readiness of the MPC-U system and PAU to be supplied to railway station “Sindel” to be installed and commissioned.

Based on the results of the testing, the commission members (representatives of the customer - SE “National Railway Infrastructure Company”) concluded that the equipment meets all normative documents, the testing was successful, and the equipment is ready to be supplied.

SRPA “Impulse” is a leading Ukrainian designer, manufacturer, and supplier of highly-reliable instrumentation and control systems for nuclear power engineering and railways.
