  On the 23-25th of September, 2009 in the International Exhibition Centre (Kiev) the seventh International Forum “Fuel and Energy Complex of Ukraine: the Present and the Future” took place.

  At power unit No. 1 of Zaporozhye NPP the software-hardware complex of control rod control system RCS-I was put into experimental operation.

May, 2009
  The following systems were put into experimental operation at power unit No. 2 of Khmelnitskiy NPP:

  • heat carrier leakages monitoring system (acoustic monitoring and humidity monitoring subsystems) HCLMS AMS and HCLMS HMS;
  • free and poorly fixed objects detection system (FODS);
  • reactor plant vibrodiagnostics system (RPVS);
  • in-core noise diagnostics system (INDS).

April, 2009
  Acceptance tests of the software-hardware complex of Control Rod Control System RCS-I for power unit # 1 of ZNPP were successfully conducted on the 27-30th of April
  Except specialists of CJSC "SRPA "Impulse", specialists of SE NNEGC "Energoatom", State Nuclear Regulatory Committee of Ukraine, Kharkov Self-financing Subdivision "СERTCentre of ACS", ZNPP have taken part in the tests.

  Two sets of neutron flux monitoring system NFMS-IF EPP were implemented on power unit # 2 of Rovno NPP.
  Provisional factory tests of the following local diagnostics systems for power unit # 2 of Khmelnitskiy NPP were successfully conducted:

  • reactor plant vibrodiagnostics system;
  • in-core noise diagnostics system;
  • free and poorly fixed objects detection system.

December, 2008
  The following systems were put into experimental operation on power unit # 4 of Rovno NPP:
  • heat carrier leakage monitoring system (acoustic monitoring and humidity monitoring subsystems);
  • free and poorly fixed objects detection system (FODS);

  Work test of diagnostic local systems was successfully carried out for Khmelnitsky NPP power 2:

  • Coolant Leak Monitoring System, Subsystem of Acoustic Control (CLMS SAC)
  • Coolant Leak Monitoring System, Subsystem of Humidity Control (CLMS SHC)

November, 2008
  2 complete sets of Neutron Flux Monitoring System NFMS-IF EPP were delivered to the power unit 1 Rovno NPP.

  Cross cabinets, basic cabinets and current distribution cabinet from the structure of hardware unified complex HUC-VL were delivered to the Zaporozhye NPP.

October, 2008
  On 23-24th October, 2008 the regular conference of Coordination Council of Experts was held in CJSC “SRPA”Impuls” of ACS TP NPP NNEGC “Energoatom”.
  During the conference the reports about ACS TP reconstruction for the 3rd quarter, 2008 of NPP representatives were heard. Also there were considered the possibility of ACS TP updating till 2010.
  At the presentation of products a particular interest of members of CCE was caused by the new developments of CJSC “SRPA”Impuls” such as: CRCS-1000, SHC NOS RH, LVCD RTZO.

September, 2008
  The President of CJSC “SRPA ”Impuls” ” Yeliseyev V.V. successfully defended Doctoral thesis. It deals with the methods of fault tolerance of software & hardware complexes of I&C systems NPP power units. Higher Certification Commission decided to confer a doctor of engineering degree on him.

  On 24 – 26 September, 2008 the 6th International forum “Fuel & energetic complex of Ukraine: Present and future” took place at the International exhibition centre (Kiev).

  There was presented the following production of CJSC “SRPA”Impuls”:

  • low-voltage complete devices RTZO;
  • fragment of SHC of reactor room normal operation system;
  • fragment of SHC of control rod control system.

  Work test of diagnostic local systems were carried out for power unit Rovno NPP-4:
  • primary coolant leak monitoring system (subsystem of acoustic control and humidity control);
  • free and loose part detection system.

July, 2008
  Acceptance tests of the low-voltage complete devices RTZO intended for power supply and control of electric motor of shut-off and control valves were successfully carried out.
  Low-voltage complete devices RTZO are elements of NPP safety operating system. They could be used for RTZO-69 assemblies replacement.
  Acceptance tests of digital software & hardware complex of normal operation system of reactor hall (SHC NOS RH) were successfully carried out for Zaporozhye NPP power unit 5.
  SHC NOS RH intended for use as a part of reactor hall normal operating system of NPP power units for supplying of technological protection functions, interlocks, alarm system, regulation and remote control of drives.
  SHC NOS RH has such distinctive features as:

  • reliability growth by means of using redundant structures, possibility of maintenance service of SHC in all channels with retention ability of all functions to work;
  • reduction of equipment quantity by using digital means of processing and data communication in comparison with existing NOCS on the basis of unified hardware;
  • reduction of equipment quantity that realize the functioning of CIS lower level of power unit by means of realization of primary processing signals in SHC and their transferring to upper level of CIS;
  • reduction of cable communications quantity by using digital optical interface and it is steady against electromagnetic interference;
  • presence of current and retrospective information presentation about technological parameters state, protections, interlocks, ACS, drives;
  • diagnostic of hardware states, communication links, input signals, primary and secondary electrical feed circuit;
  • scalability, possibility of realization in several stages.

   Acceptance tests of software & hardware complex of control rod control system RCS-Impuls for Zaporozhye NPP, power unit 2 were successfully carried out.
  New system was estimated very high by NNEGC “Energoatom” experts, Ukrainian and Russian NPPs, State Nuclear Regulator Committee of Ukraine, Certification Centre of ACS, design organization.

  SHC RCS-I has the following distinctive features:

  • full redundancy of power supply of magnets with automatic bumpless transfering and the possibility of replacing during its running;
  • realization variety of emergency and preliminary protection systems (2 three-channel complete sets, one of which is realized on “hardwired” relay logic);
  • structure of SHC includes complete sets of power supply equipments (both logic and electromagnets);
  • echelon facility of built-in diagnostic archive with displaying and archiving on the control and diagnostic server.

  This kind of work was carried out on the base of development experience, implementation and operation of similar systems for WWER-440 power units of the Rovno NPP.

   Testing of a new neutron flux monitoring system was successfully passed at ZNPP produced by Severodonetsk RPA “Impuls”.
   At Zaporozhye NPP power unit 2 successfully took place tests of new digital facilities of neutron flux monitoring and measurements (NFMS-I). From these test results depended if we were permitted further power unit operation of Ukrainian NPPs by State Nuclear Regulator Committee of Ukraine.
   Before scheduled repair of power unit 2 in accordance with permitted application and carrying out a number of working operations on May 31, at 12:01 there was a signal of imitation of switching-off turbo-feed pump (TFP-1) and in accordance with algorithm the accelerated preliminary protection activated with automatic unloading unit up to 450 MW. Work of systems and mechanisms occurred in planned mode. There were no abnormalities and disturbances. A new algorithm of reactor neutron flux monitoring system was approved with the participation of chief state inspector of nuclear and radiation safety of Ukraine Mikhail Gashev, the first vice president of technical director of NNEGC “Energoatom” Ivan Foltov, general director SS ZNPP
   Vyacheslav Tishchenko, chief engineer of SS ZNPP Alexander Shavlakov and other experts. NFMS-I was produced by Severodonetsk RPA “Impuls”. Its system is intended to replace previously installed on neutron flux monitoring system units NFMS.
   The success of carrying out this work confirmed the right acceptance of design solutions and dynamic stability of the domestic NPPs.
   The next step made by nuclear powers, designers and developers is implementation of a new system to improve the safety of nuclear power plant and prolongation of their resources.

With the participation of European Commission experts acceptance tests of neutron flux monitoring system NFMS-IP EPP RMS were successfully carried out under the project Tacis U1.04/05A for power unit 2 of Khmelnitsky NPP.



January-February, 2008
CDS and VCDS MCP were successfully putting into experimental operation at the Khmelnitsky NPP power unit 2.



November, 2007
Production test of comprehensive diagnostic system CDS and vibration monitoring & diagnostic VCDS of the main circulation pump MCP for Khmelnitsky NPP power unit 4 and Rovno NPP.
The specialist of CJSC “SRPA”Impuls” Gerasimenko K.E made a presentation at the international conference “ Integration of analog and digital equipment , instrumentation & control systems on hybrid MCR”. The conference took place in Toronto (Canada) under the aegis of IAEA.



October, 2007
Specialists of CJSC “SRPA”Impuls” took part in the third International scientific and technical conference “NPP Instrumentation and control systems: aspects of safety”, where they presented three reports. It was held in Kharkov.
The conference was organized by the State Nuclear Regulation Committee of Ukraine, Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine, State Enterprise "State Science and Technology Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety”, NNEGC “Energoatom”.

On 26-28th September, 2007 the 5th International Forum “Fuel and Energy Complex of Ukraine: Present and Future” was held at the International Exhibition Centre (Kiev). There were also presented the production of CJSC “SRPA”Impuls” for specialists of thermal energy.
The following items produced by our enterprise were represented:

  • fragment of NFMS-IP;
  • SHC of reactor core emergency cooling system CECS;
  • neutron boron analyzer NAR-I;

Certification test of NFMS-IP (back-up shutdown center BSC and two reload monitoring systems RMS) were successfully finished for Rovno NPP power unit 2.

Certification test of NFMS-IP (emergency protection system of reload monitoring system EPS-RMS and display unit DU of main control room MCR) were successfully finished for Zaporozhye NPP power unit 2.



May, 2007
Neutron flux monitoring system NFMS-IP certification test was carried out (back-up shutdown center BSC and display unit DU for main control room MCR) for Khmelnitsky NPP power unit 1.
The second stage of acceptance tests were successfully finished under the project Tacis U1.04/05A and with the participation of EBRD experts.



April, 2007
Successful acceptance tastes of neutron boron analyzer NAR-I were carried out.
With the participation of EBRD experts the first stage of acceptance tastes under the project of Tacis U1.04/05A were successfully finished at CJSC “SRPA”Impuls”.

In-core monitoring system ICMS-M was implemented in Zaporozhye NPP power unit 3.
Equipment of HUC-VL was shipped at Zaporozhye NPP power unit 4.
A line of smooth start up mechanisms SSM 3/4 was implemented in Khmelnitsky NPP, Zaporozhye NPP and Volgodonsk NPP.
A line of smooth start up mechanisms SSM 4/5 was implemented in Zaporozhye NPP and Rovno NPP.

Hardware of in-core monitoring system ICMS-M was shipped at Zaporozhye NPP power unit 3.
Units of HUC-VL were shipped at Zaporozhye NPP power unit 3.

Equipment of HUC-VL of normal operation system of reactor and turbine halls was implemented in Khmelnitsky NPP power unit 2.
Certification tastes of NFMS-IP emergency and preliminary protection systems of reload monitoring system EPS-RMS were successfully carried out for Rovno NPP power unit 1.



December, 2006
Workstations PS 5120 for upper block level system (UBLS) for power unit 1 were shipped at Khmelnitsky NPP.
SHC control element regulation system CERS-I was implemented in Rovno NPP power unit 2 with reactor WWER 440.
The equipment of hardware unified complex HUC was shipped at Khmelnitsky NPP for replacing equipment of normal operation system for reactor and turbine halls power unit 2.
Equipment of neutron flux monitoring system NFMS-I was shipped at Rovno NPP for power unit 3 back-up shutdown center BSC.



October, 2006
Software and hardware means for upper block level of in-core monitoring ICMS-M were put into operation at South-Ukraine NPP power unit 2.

On 26-29 September the 4th International forum “Fuel-energy complex of Ukraine” took place at the International exhibition centre (Kiev). It was held under the Cabinet of Ministers patronage.
At the stand of CJSC “SRPA”Impuls” the following production were presented:

  • neutron boron analyzer NAR-I;
  • workstation PS 5120;
  • fragment of neutron flux monitoring system NFMS-IP;
  • fragment of SHC control element regulation system CERS.

Production of our enterprise was highly appreciated by Chuprun V.P. the first deputy minister of fuel and energy.

CJSC “SRPA”Impuls” celebrated 50 years from the date of foundation. About 120 partners of the firm took part in celebration.
